The new watch, as we've come to expect from IWC Ingenieur Replica timepieces in the past, features a two-tone dial with a beautiful design that is typical of the late 1930s.https://www.zfiwc.com/iwc/ingenieur.html The dial features a black-nickel gold chapter ring with curved markers that are reminiscent of the soon to be iconic drop style hour markers. The Arabic markers are black nickel gold as well, while the outer rail is painted with blue Arabic numerals.
The dial is divided into two zones: an outer circle that has a circular satin-brushed surface and a center zone that has a vertical satin brushed surface. The dial of this watch also includes a small seconds counter, which is located at the bottom of the dial near the 6 o’clock mark.
The gold "assegai"-shaped hours and minutes hands have been treated with ruthenium, and then stamped to achieve extreme slenderness. Meanwhile, the seconds hand has been designed in a baton style to give the watch the perfect finishing touch.
The Galet Square Swiss fine-timing case reveals the purest expressions of style and elegant with its new lug design, and side decoration of a polished Swiss Cross. The 41mm x 42mm case is made of stainless steel. The case has a winding crown in the shape of a ball. The case is designed to be water resistant up to 30 meters.
The IWC Ingenieur Replica Galet “Vintage America I” is powered by the automatic winding FBN caliber 22901 with micro-rotors and natural escapement. The mechanism can store enough power to keep the watch running for about 3 days (72 hour). This is the third in-house exclusive movement that is developed,Omega Constellation Replica assembled and calibrated in the IWC Ingenieur Replica workshop. The caliber 229,01 has a silicon escapement that delivers two direct impulses per oscillation to the balance. This system requires two escape wheels and a specially-designed lever. The movement has 35 jewels and oscillates with a semi-rapid rate of 21,600 alternations an hour (3 Hz). It is made up of 186 parts.
